This isn’t a stealthy “future of finance” startup. Read this first.
Most fintech job posts won’t tell you what the company actually does, won’t share salary until offer stage, and run a five-round interview that includes a leetcode hour. We’re the opposite of that, on purpose. We only hire top of market, and we pay accordingly.
200 people in a Slack workspace pretending it’s 50.
11 people, profitable, hiring for years, not months.
Five interview rounds, leetcode, and a “values” panel.
Three conversations + one paid take-home, decision in 5 working days.
“Salary will be discussed at offer stage.”
Top-of-market cash + real equity. Bands published below — what you see is what we pay.
“Junior to senior welcome!” — then nobody reads juniors.
Senior+ only. 7+ years shipping the craft. Lead-level taste. We hire small and we hire well.
“On-site or nothing.”
Studio in Hørsholm, remote welcome. Async by default, two on-site weeks a quarter for the people who work remote.
Owning a slice of a slice of a feature on a Jira board.
You ship whole surfaces. Scope, design, ship, watch metrics, fix.
What we’re hiring for · right now.
Senior+ only · remote-friendly · Hørsholm studioSound Engineer · lead
Own every sound LB makes. Streak SFX, lesson-complete fanfares, the chunky 3D-button thump, ambient stage beds, the perfect-lesson sting. You’ll sit next to the designers and animators — sound is half the reward, not a polish pass at the end.
Game Designer / Game Developer
Design and build the core loops — lessons, Cups, Forecasts, the streak machine. You’re comfortable holding a Figma in one hand and a Unity / React Native scene in the other. We expect you’ve already shipped at least one game whose retention curve you’re proud of — and can talk about why it worked.
Game Graphic Designer / Animator
Own the visual feel of LB — the chunky 3D-gold buttons, the diamond mascot, lesson-complete celebrations, the screen-shake on the boss-badge unlock. Bring 2D & 3D illustration chops plus motion. We care about taste and craft over tool fluency. Portfolio is the bar.

"I’ve worked at three other fintech startups. This is the first one where I actually believe the marketing copy on the homepage."
The week, in five principles.
Async by default.
Written specs, Slack threads, Loom videos. Weekly 60-min team sync — that’s the only standing meeting on the calendar.
Ship every Wednesday.
The cadence is non-negotiable. If something isn’t ready it doesn’t ship — but the cadence doesn’t slip for it.
Written first.
Every project starts with a 1-pager. We argue in writing where possible. Saves time, kills bad ideas faster.
Real ownership.
Whoever picks up a problem owns it end-to-end: scope, design, ship, watch the metrics, fix the bugs at midnight if needed.
One studio, remote welcome.
Hørsholm studio for the people who want desk-life every day. Remote welcome for the rest — we fly you in two weeks a quarter so the team stays one team. Async by default the rest of the time.
The boring-but-important.
Four conversations. Five working days. No ghosting.
Intro call
Get to know each other. Talk role, expectations, ask anything.
30 minPaid take-home
A real problem from our backlog. We pay €200, win or lose.
~3 h · asyncWalkthrough
Present your take-home. We discuss. You ask the hard questions back.
60 minTeam chat
With two future colleagues. Casual, no trick questions.
45 minOffer
Inside 5 working days of the intro. We don’t ghost.
Day 5"If you’ve ever wished you’d learned about money younger — come build the thing you wished existed."
Ready when you are.
CV + portfolio + the one thing you’ve shipped you’re proud of. That’s what we read first.
